Where is Zion Noiz?
Zion Noiz is located at Metis Crossing, 20km South of Smoky Lake, Alberta. This is about 45-60 minutes North-East of Edmonton along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River.
Do you support Zionism?
No! Zion is a name which predates the violent and oppressive ideology currently using the name of Zionism. We support the Free people of Earth, beyond ideology and religious distinction. In Hebrew, it is understood as, "The World to Come," and this is also our intention to follow, with a new wave of culture and community.
2017 will be the last year we operate under the name of Zion Noiz for this reason.
The theme of Odyssey is about our Journey to a new name!
Get ready for 2018!

You are not allowed to bring pets! To ensure that the grounds are kept spotless, we will not be allowing pets on the land.

Is it cool to show off how much I dig Aboriginal cultures by wearing a Headdress?
NO! You are not showing anyone respect by wearing a ceremonial item, grafted from a culture with much deeper roots, and meanings, attached to that item. Would you be offended if someone wore your grandad's WW2 regalia and medals to a festival? Yes. And it's illegal too. Just stop it. We will destroy your faux-dresses.
We believe that all ethnicities deserve respect. To foster a practice of cultural respect within the festival scene, we, like a growing number of festivals, are banning the war bonnet, or "Indian headress."
Can I bring booze?
NO! And no glass bottles- for really real. We will take them away. At any time. Forkeepsies. We must officially insist for legal reasons that you not bring alcohol . if we see you drinking it, we have to confiscate it.
